Conservation Commission approves dwelling order and reschedules August agenda.

Conservation Commission · Meeting of August 4, 2026

HUBBARDSTON — Conservation Commission approves dwelling order, reschedules meeting to August 28. Chair Bryan LaRochelle, voting unanimously with Rich Clapham, Chris Pirner, and Brock Germinara present, closed the public hearing and issued a standard Order of Conditions for Stanley Suchocki's single-family dwelling and septic project on Birches Road. The Commission also continued two concurrent wetland applications pending site visits: Jarod Hardaker's culvert replacement and land conversion work, and William Homans's beach tree removal.

A Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection official advised that Hardaker's work may require a full Notice of Intent rather than the less-rigorous determination of applicability process. The meeting was rescheduled after Hardaker noted that quorum would be at risk if both LaRochelle and Germinara were absent on the original date.
