Hubbardston conservation panel approves permits for pond expansion and boat-ramp upgrades. The Conservation Commission voted unanimously on May 5 to approve Orders of Conditions for Thomas Christopher's pond expansion on Gardner Road and the state Department of Fish and Game's parking and pier project at Old Boston Turnpike, with Chair Bryan LaRochelle recusing himself from the state vote. Christopher Ford received a negative determination for his seasonal dock, meaning the Wetlands Protection Act does not apply to that work.
