Board of Health approves multiple septic reports and food permit.

Board of Health · Meeting of August 4, 2026

HUBBARDSTON — The Hubbardston Board of Health approved the Hubbardston Lions Club 1-Day Food Permit with a fee waiver, voted unanimously. Chair Gael Moncoeur moved the waiver, seconded by Vice Chair David Rogers. The board passed six of seven Title V septic system reports for various residential addresses; one system at 6 Plum Tree Lane failed and requires follow-up.

The board also noted no current Covid-19 or flu cases in town but continues monitoring tick-borne illness and reports of cyclosporosis per Department of Public Health guidelines. Ongoing concerns at 124 Barre Road regarding an overflowing dumpster remain under board oversight in coordination with the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
