Commission approves septic system replacement conditions for Birches Road

Hubbardston Conservation Commission approves septic system conditions, declines town ownership. Chair Bryan LaRochelle led the Commission to unanimous approval of a standard order of conditions for replacing a failed septic system at 43 Birches Road with a Title 5 compliant system. Engineer Mark Popham secured Board of Health approval, and the Department of Environmental Protection issued a file number.

The Commission voted unanimously to pass on recommending town ownership regarding an Allan Prentiss Right of First Refusal matter, instead referring it to the Select Board.
