Library Trustees approve $47,985 renovation with CPA grant funds

HUBBARDSTON — Library Trustees approve lower level renovation contract with CPA grant. The four-member board voted unanimously to proceed with Ufema Contracting's updated $47,985 quote, funded by a $40,000 Community Preservation Act grant and library accounts, with work potentially starting August 1st and completing by August 30th. Chair Morgan Brinker and Vice Chair Connie Strittmatter oversaw discussion of contract details including wall and ceiling replacement, floating floor installation, and contingency costs.
The board is actively recruiting two additional members to maintain quorum, as all four current trustees must attend meetings in person or virtually.
