Board of Health · Meeting of October 13, 2026
Hubbardston's Board of Health approved a septic repair plan and two Halloween-weekend food permits while a resident pressed the board over an unanswered vaccine-clinic records request. Resident Maria Trigney told the board she emailed in August asking for informed-consent materials at the town's Oct. 16 Walgreens vaccine clinic and never heard back; members attributed the delay to the board's clerk position, vacant since May. "There has been some backlog in the process," one member said, noting the office's email has gone largely unmonitored.
The board approved engineering plans for a septic repair at 122 Worcester Road, a fee-waived food permit for the Hubbardston Police Department's Oct. 31 block party, and minutes from the prior meeting on a 1-0 vote with one abstention. Members also began reviewing proposed changes to Article 10, the town's regulation on pet shops, zoos and animal sanctuaries, prompted by questions about an unlicensed-feeling zoo operation in Williamsville.
