Select Board votes to request historic Mishoon canoe from museum

HUBBARDSTON — Select Board votes 2-1 to seek historic Mishoon canoe from Worcester museum. Chair Kathryn V. Young voted against the motion to contact the Worcester Historical Museum, citing storage concerns; Vice-Chair Peter J.

Walker and Member Kris E. Pareago supported the move. Resident Ed Blanchard brought the unanticipated item, offering to build a display case and secure a storage location.

The Board also directed Blanchard's separate tax-title matter to Treasurer/Collector Liz Clemence.
