HUBBARDSTON — The Hubbardston Select Board appointed Kathryn V. Young as liaison to the Municipal Complex Building Committee on June 29, advancing planning for a multi-phase project requiring future debt exclusion approval. The Board assigned Peter J.
Walker to Emergency Management and Planning Board positions and Terry Tyler to Cable Advisory Committee. Young will oversee public engagement and presentations before a fall Town Meeting to explain project scope, costs and tax impact to voters. The Board also unanimously extended Sean Fitzgerald as Interim Town Administrator through December 31 after a previously selected candidate withdrew, and discussed a missed $58,000 debt service payment in fiscal 2026, which prompted enhanced budgetary controls for fiscal 2027.
