Hubbardston Select Board approves bandstand repairs amid school budget pressures. The board voted 3-1 with one abstention to approve the Lions Club's request for bandstand work at the recreation field, with Member Kris E. Pareago recusing himself due to his club membership.
Interim Town Administrator Sean Fitzgerald reported that the town is projecting a 4.9 percent budget increase overall for FY2027 and has asked the Quabbin Regional School District, whose budget request includes a 4.23 percent increase, to trim by 0.9 percent to help align town-wide spending.
