Select Board accepts Veteran Services Officer resignation, approves district transition

Hubbardston Select Board approves Veteran Services consolidation. The board accepted Veteran Services Officer Lauren Wright's resignation effective January 1, 2026, as the town transitions to the Veteran Services District. In separate unanimous votes, the board approved submission of a District Local Technical Assistance grant and authorized the Town Clerk to sign a Rural Development Grant for 21 Gardner Road.
The board also appointed Sara Rish as temporary Assistant Treasurer/Collector at her current hourly rate for up to 10 hours weekly through January 31, and voted to move forward with Robert Garside for Building Commissioner pending legal review and due diligence.
