Planning Board moves Article 4 forward through format conversion

Planning Board · Meeting of April 14, 2026

HUBBARDSTON — The Planning Board spent its April 14 meeting conducting a detailed line-by-line review of Article 4's proposed table of uses. Chair Kristofer Munroe and all five members reviewed the draft table, which converts the zoning bylaw from narrative format to a clearer tabular structure while incorporating Dover Amendments and avoiding substantive policy changes. Member Mark Kresge identified and helped remove duplicates, and the board agreed to limit this initial phase to format conversion only, deferring substantive amendments to a future meeting.

An additional meeting is scheduled for April 23, 2026, before a public hearing, and Member Alan Carpenter volunteered to work on e-codification zoning bylaw questions due by late May.
