HUBBARDSTON — Planning Board directs expanded outreach for sandpit overlay. The Board instructed Town Planner Alec Wade to conduct focus-group discussions with abutters one parcel beyond the current boundaries and develop physical modeling of density scenarios. Associate member Mark Kresge raised concerns the overlay could supersede Aquifer Protection District rules; member Alan Carpenter critiqued density standards, buffer widths, and earth-removal provisions.
No formal votes on the overlay itself were recorded.
