Parks Commission approves storybook walk test, books summer social

Parks Commission · Meeting of April 9, 2026

HUBBARDSTON — Parks Commission approves storybook walk test, schedules summer social on Cultural Council grant. Chair Jessie Alexander will present a proposed pavilion fee structure ($20 for four hours, $50 for all day) to the Select Board for approval. The commission scheduled a summer social for July 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. using Cultural Council grant funds.

The commission is also evaluating town properties for a potential sledding hill location, and with no current senior work-off program participants, commissioners will rotate weekly park maintenance duties.
