Memorial Day Committee plans observance, seeks band and master of ceremonies

Hubbardston marks Memorial Day with full committee coordination. All five committee members attended the March 30 meeting to finalize ceremony arrangements, delegating outreach to secure a band, master of ceremonies, and logistical support. Katie Young will ask Pete Walker, a Select Board member and veteran, to serve as master of ceremonies.
Bill Shea confirmed as guest speaker. The Hubbardston Lions Club will provide hotdog stand staffing and setup assistance, while the Council on Aging will supply the veteran trailer with driver. Monty Tech ROTC is expected to provide a color guard.
