Memorial Day Committee advances planning for May ceremony

HUBBARDSTON — Committee secures seniors and clergy for Hubbardston Memorial Day. The five-member Memorial Day Committee unanimously approved coordination with the Council on Aging and senior singers at its March 23 meeting. Stevie LaBelle will coordinate outreach to previously identified organizations and follow up on a donated trailer for seniors; Nancy Rogan is contacting the Lions Club about hot dogs and logistical support; Taylor Wilkinson is coordinating with schools on participation details; and Katie Young is scheduling a bell-tower inspection.
The committee has secured clergy and is seeking candidates for master of ceremonies and guest speaker, with next meeting March 30.
