Hubbardston sees 14 property transfers in four-week span, but most sale prices go unreported
Hubbardston recorded 14 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only three deeds disclosed a sale price: $20,000, $67,554 and $323,000, for a median of $67,554. The month's top disclosed sale was 5 Abenaki St. at $323,000, sold to Operative Bank. Underwood Road and Madison Way each saw two transfers. Several deeds named mortgage servicers, trusts or a utility company as a party, and one sale transferred land to the Hubbardston Town Assessors. With most prices undisclosed, the data does not support a clear read on whether the market favored buyers or sellers this period.
