Hubbardston CPC approves library Story Walk installation

Hubbardston Community Preservation Committee approves library Story Walk with conditions. The committee voted 5-0-1 to accept a Community Preservation Act application from the Hubbardston Library Trustees, contingent upon receipt of additional cost estimates and final pricing for the introduction sign. Treasurer Susan Worth reported available CPC funds totaling $200,948, comprising $51,749 in the Open Space portion and $149,199 in non-allocated funds.
The library's Lower Level Renovation project remains on hold pending Chief Procurement Officer approval, with the May 1, 2026 estimated completion date requiring modification.
