Finance Committee holds warrant articles until fall town meeting

HUBBARDSTON — Finance Committee defers warrant articles to fall session due to budget timeline. Finance Committee Chair Seth Knipe and the Select Board held seven warrant articles (3, 4, 5, 15, 17) to allow time for revenue and budget reconciliation. Two articles, 10 and 11, were designated for immediate action.
The committee also established salary reserves for an incoming Town Administrator and for a facilities position, and reserved funds for 911 Regional Dispatch negotiations. Discussion of the 911 Regional Dispatch contract assessment rate increase was tabled, as the town's budget cannot accommodate the substantial increase.
