Committee advances trail projects, takes on hay contract work

Hubbardston Open Space Committee moves conservation projects forward, assigns hay contract work. The committee, meeting at Town Hall, reviewed account balances totaling $22,523 and advanced several trail projects, with Bob Hatch and Stephanie Frend procuring cedar for new Mount Jefferson trail signs. The committee also appointed Rick Jones and Tim Hawley to draft an Invitation for Bid on a hay contract, addressing administrative work left vacant by Town Administrator Nate Boudreau's recent resignation.
The group will meet with Anna Wilkins of the North County Land Trust to guide land prioritization efforts and plans spring work on Mill Pond bridge and Beaver Pond trails.
