Hubbardston Cemetery Commission approved a solar security light purchase not exceeding $100 following a break-in at Brookside garage. Chair Paul F. Sweeney, members Raven Kaldera and David Melville, and Clerk Joyce Green voted unanimously.
Thieves stole a new push mower, three weed wackers, and two blowers; the DPW is in charge of equipment replacement. The commission also advanced multiple maintenance projects and directed Clerk Joyce Green to develop a procedures manual for consistent cemetery business handling.
