Commission approves driveway project; addresses unpermitted cutting

HUBBARDSTON — Conservation Commission approves driveway, tackles unpermitted cutting issue. Chair Bryan LaRochelle led the board through approval of standard conditions for a 12-foot driveway conversion at 135 Old Westminster Road for applicant David Baldarelli, with the proposed house outside the 100-foot wetland buffer zone. The commission also voted unanimously to continue a public hearing on Stanley Suchocki's septic system replacement at 43 Birches Road to February 17 pending a state DEP file number, and unanimously approved drafting a letter to a Kruse Road property owner demanding cessation of unpermitted cutting that may be affecting wetlands on the parcel.
