Hubbardston Cable Advisory Committee advanced planning for cable license renewal with resident surveys and public hearing. Chair Katrina McCreary will refine a draft survey for distribution through town offices, library, and senior center by October 27, with a November 30 submission deadline. Member William Mayrose reported the Select Board mailed a renewal notification to Charter Communications in September.
A public ascertainment hearing will be scheduled for either December 7 or 14. Station Manager Brittany Blaney suggested requesting the Town Moderator and Select Board to mention the survey and hearing at upcoming public announcements.
