HUBBARDSTON — Cable Advisory Committee reorganizes and launches charter renewal process. The committee unanimously elected Katrina McCreary as Chair, Vincent DiBenedetto as Vice Chair, and William Mayrose as Clerk. Attorney Jeffrey Blake walked members through the five-step renewal sequence, requiring a compliance review of the current Charter provider, at least one public ascertainment hearing, a 10-year financial forecast, license negotiation, and Select Board approval.
The committee will prepare operational and capital equipment projections and schedule the ascertainment hearing, with follow-up meetings planned for September 1st and September 28th.
