HUBBARDSTON — Board of Assessors directs research into nonprofit tax program. Members Albert Afonso (acting Chair) and Jeffery Young were present, with member John Prentiss absent. The Board unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and directed Assessor Steve Boucher to explore establishing a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes program for nonprofits.
In related business, the Board reviewed and approved two Chapter 61A and one Chapter 61B land conservation applications.
